Many types of birds can be found on the pond in Horsham Park, including swans, mallard ducks, coot and moorhen.

Birds Farm Allotments

Allotments are vital spaces for recreation and for wildlife. Many species make their homes here, and while some are considered to be pests, many are beneficial and contribute to the produce and flowers that are grown.

Victory Recreation Ground Nature Garden

Look out for the pollinator friendly planting around the mosaic and wilder borders around the edges of the grounds.

Tree Circle

The Churchill Road green is a valued community resource and is home to a circle of 15 trees.

Cootes Farm Pond

A wildlife haven in the middle of Horsham on land that was purchased by the community in 2021. Keep an eye out for ducks and geese as well as town birds that have made their homes close to the pond, which provides an abundant supply of insects and seed.
